In the online comic Under the Sign of the Z, Diego Plain accepted the bestowal as a guardian of the Z Stone, that is the mystical spark that sustains life on Earth.

Loyal to the tradition of the dynasty of guardians he become a part of, Diego followed the example of his illustrious predecessors -- such as Zorro, Zigomar and King William The Second of Sicily -- adopting a secret identity to fight the battle against the Wasteland.
But, where his predecessor had to resort to armours or suits produced by their allies, Diego used directly the power of the Z Stone to create his own uniform and conceal his own identity. The first time, he was influenced by his direct ancestor Zorro, but the power of the Z Stone can give form and substance to any and all of Diego's fantasies.

This is how the racing suit of the Z-Biker is born, allowing Diego to move around in public without being noticed and labeled as a "superhero", a concept that --for his regret -- works only in comics, as the fight against the Wasteland must be carried on in secret.

Nel fumetto online Nel segno della Zeta, Diego Plain ha accettato l'investitura a guardiano della Pietra Z, la mistica scintilla che sostenta la vita sulla Terra.
Fedele alla tradizione della dinastia di guardiani di cui è divenuto parte, Diego ha seguito l'esempio dei suoi illustri predecessori, come Zorro, Zigomar e Re Guglielmo II di Sicilia, assumendo un'identità segreta per combattere la battaglia contro le forze della Desolazione.

Ma, dove i suoi precedessori ricorrevano ad armature o costumi prodotte dai loro alleati, Diego ha usato il potere della stessa Pietra Z per creare un'uniforme con cui occultare la propria identità: la prima volta, si è fatto influenzare dal suo diretto antenato Zorro, ma il potere della Pietra Z è in grado di dare sostanza a qualunque idea di Diego.

Nasce così la tuta da motociclismo dello Z-Biker, che nella sua modernità permette a Diego di muoversi anche in pubblico senza farsi identificare come "supereroe", un concetto che per il suo dispiacere è credibile solo nei fumetti, dato che la guerra contro la Desolazione va portata avanti in segreto.
